Secure Your Account

Your myNortheastern username and password provides access to many online university sites —and our online security best practices are a big part of keeping your account protected. Safeguard your experience by following the Northeastern University Appropriate Use of Computer and Network Resources Policyenrolling your account in two-factor authentication, and forwarding any suspicious emails you receive to phishcatcher@northeastern.edu.

Stay Connected

NUwave is the secure wireless network for laptops, phones, and other personal devices across campus. For faculty and staff who need wired connection to the internet or other computer resources, NUnet can be used to access shared network drives and network printers. The university’s VPN provides safe and secure remote access to NUnet resources from off-campus locations.

Key sites to be aware of are my.northeastern.edunortheastern.blackboard.com, and sail.northeastern.edu. These sites serve as central access to university services and systems, our online classroom portal, and SAIL: our Self-Authored Integrated Learning system designed for deeper learning.
